Mark made Ava Baby a lullaby playlist on my iPod, and I’ve been playing it over and over while I’ve been here at Jamie and Angela’s house. One song in particular has actually ministered to me so much of the love of God for our little girl, and it makes me cry when I hear it. I just know that the Lord is letting me know that He is taking care of our precious daughter and that I don’t have to fear.

The scripture that I’ve been praying over her today is from Psalm 91:
“{She} who dwells in the secret place of the Most High

He shall cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you shall take refuge;
His truth shall be your shield and buckler.”

How I appreciate the writings from your heart and how the Lord is strengthening you during this time before Ava’s birth. What a blessing the gift of music & verse are in the midst of this time of waiting… I found that true when I was with our college age daughter in Rochester and I had just received the CD “Quiet Times” by Carter Conlon. The Lord touches us, encourages us and gives us His trust that He cares and answers prayer. Music touches our heart when everyone else is sleeping…and we’re awake…! May the Lord bless you, Mark and Little Ava. We look forward with all your family and friends…to meet your precious daughter in the coming weeks. All three of you are in our prayers.
