choices. choices. that's what life is made of. i have a few things in mind this year that i want to pursue (besides my relationship to Jesus). i'm hoping to perfect the baking of healthy breads, learning either the sourdough or sprouting methods. also, it's time to learn the simple, beautiful classical piano music i've always wanted to play. but all that is only second to practising my grandmothering skills!!!!!! i'm so ready! 5 weeks left until due date! yeaeaeaeaea!

Man, you are I are like two peas in a pod! I feel the exact same way about the upcoming year! A time to remove everything from our lives that isn’t worthwhile to focus on what really matters. I love the part you wrote about living deliberately and on purpose. Well said!

Keep up the top notch writing, sweetie.

All my love,
Hubby

Happy New Year Missy! Thank you for the beautiful writing concerning the New Year 2010. It was such a blessing to read this morning...and to consider that the Lord has a calmness and peace that He desires for each of us. Mary

This is probably one of the first years that I have not made a New Year's resolution. I think this is because towards the end of 2009 I came to the end of myself and my attempts to make certain things happen in my life. So this year I just want God's will to be done in my life and for Him to be the one that comes in and births new things, not me by my own workings of the flesh. I want Him to be glorified by events that could only have come about by His hand. So I guess I'd say it is a new season's resolution instead of a New Year's resolution. Thanks for sharing yours and letting me put down what was in my heart! Miss you! Been thinking about you a lot the last couple of days and wondering how you are doing and feeling so it was nice to see your post. LU!
