Autumn…

“Every leaf speaks bliss to me, fluttering from the autumn tree.”

With such an unseasonable warm September, we have had much less color up north than we normally do. But I’ll take what I can get… I savor these autumn days, even if I wouldn’t mind it a tad cooler and cozier.

Our annual camping trip is coming up the first weekend in October. I can’t wait for a cozy fire, tin mugs, canoe rides, and Jodie’s famous campfire breakfast. It’s one of the things I look forward to the most all year long. Ahhh, very soon.

Okay…I love the new autumn look to your page! So cozy. It has been an odd season weather-wise but I’m sure we’ll get some fall weather sometime here soon. Possibly in December?? The weather is a month behind it seems. How are you doing?? Wondering how baby and you are feeling?! Was so nice that your parents sent a card for my parent’s anniversary. Was a special and busy time preparing for the celebration. So fun to see Jamie and Angela! What a cute and perfect couple. Just thinking of you!

Hi Ruth! Yes, we’ve had some crazy weather, haven’t we? Cool summer and warm fall.

Happy Anniversary to your parents! Did the party go well?

I am feeling so much better now in the pregnancy. The morning sickness didn’t end right at the end of the first trimester… it hung around for a couple of weeks into my second before it finally started to taper off. I’m so glad to finally be able to eat without getting nauseous. We’re hoping to find out if it’s a boy or a girl at our appointment in October, so we’re excited for that one.

We’re looking forward to seeing Jamie and Angela for the first time since the wedding on our camping trip on October 2nd. We’re praying for beautiful weather that weekend or we’ll probably never get them to come again! :) I think it will be lots of fun.

I wanted to tell you thank you so much for recommending the Baby Whisperer book. It had just the balance I was looking for and it is so informational. I think I read it in 3 days and now I’m going back through to highlight the things I need to remember when the baby comes.

Hope you’re doing well! I love to hear from you! Blessings.

Hi Missy! I love your new autumn look too! You are so creative. Jamie’s helping me pick a theme for my page of our website tonight. I have not found one I like yet. I love how yours is set up! It was so nice to have your parents with us last weekend. We are so looking forward to being together for our camping trip next weekend! It will be so nice to have you come to our place for a visit too sometime soon! I love you, Missy! Love, Angela

Hi Chica! Yes, we’re so excited to see you next weekend, as well. Let’s pray for beautiful weather.

I can’t believe you’ve been married for almost 2 months already! Mom says your apartment looks so nice… I can’t wait to see it! Keep that guest room ready ~ we’ll make a plan to come down soon. Last year the family came down during the Christmas season… I think we should do that again. Christmas in the city is so special, and we got a ton of shopping done, too! :) We’ll talk about it next weekend and make some plans.

Can’t wait to see you! Love you!
